My grandmother, who shared my name, was a deeply creative person as well, and looking back, I often feel that this connection to making things by hand is simply part of who I am. It is probably in my genes.
My relationship with knitting later returned in a quieter form, as a way to unwind, explore textures, and work with color without pressure or expectations. Over time, curiosity turned into deeper exploration: stitch structures, materials, planning, and the connection between process and result.
